WorldWise Global Schools Ethical Consumerism Project

This project involves post-primary schools in and around Waterford.  These schools have made the commitment to support Ethical Consumption via Fair Trade awareness raising efforts within their schools and communities.  This work is funded by Irish Aid's WorldWise Global Schools.

Our Lady of Mercy Secondary School in Waterford City received their Fairtrade School Status in February from Maria Genoa, a visiting banana farmer from the Domincan Republic.  Well done to the Mercy's Transition Year!

Newtown School's 5th Year Geography Students decided to demonstrate how easy it is to switch to Fairtrade products as well as showing off the quality of those products. Well done Newtown!
